Dr. Ernest L. Wang was born in New York City and raised in Edison, NJ. He received both his Bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees in the selective seven-year combined degree program at New York University, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Wang spent an additional three years at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery where he was awarded a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Wang has earned the extraordinary distinction of achieving Diamond Top 1% Invisalign provider worldwide. Invisalign recognized Dr. Wang’s office based on his experience, knowledge and the number of cases successfully treated. The achievement is significant because less than 100 Invisalign providers worldwide have achieved Diamond Top 1%. His professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. Dr. Wang has been chosen by his peers as a Top Dentist in New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and also by parents as a Top Kids Doc in NJ Family Magazine.

Dr. Wang resides in Howell with his wife, Erin, son, Jason, daughter Lea and dog, Nacho. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and traveling.

Dr. Leah Yi received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she continued her training in Orthodontics. Prior to being in Philadelphia, she lived in multiple areas including South Korea, Virginia, Texas, and finally California to attend the University of California, Berkeley where she received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Toxicology.

Dr. Leah has been involved in basic science research throughout her undergraduate and dental school years, earning an Honors in Research at Penn Dental Medicine and the Quintessence Award for Research Achievement. At Penn Dental, she also was involved in the Vernon J Brightman Research Society, the Student Professional Ethics Association, and received an Honors for her involvement in various programs that serve the dental needs of the local community. While completing her orthodontics training at Penn Dental, she studied growth and development with CBCT imaging and earned a Masters in Oral Biology. She maintains her involvement at Penn Orthodontics and leads a pre-doctorate Orthodontic seminar on diagnosing and treatment planning concepts. She is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Leah comes from a family of dentists and loves live music, podcasts, documentaries, and being a health nut. She enjoys staying active, being outdoors, in-door gardening and is always training for the next marathon.
